I’m an angel investor with over 35 years of experience in funding start-ups, funding seed rounds, and providing expertise in the capital markets, banker, and broker networks. I look for a scalable business model with global potential and a focused vision. I like strong, hungry founders who are dedicated, passionate, and fully committed to their work.

What Am I looking For?
You should be approaching VC7K Capital with a high-quality, fully-fleshed plan. I am looking for something exciting and different, particularly if it solves a problem and is beneficial to our environment or enhances a better healthy life for all. I like to invest in opportunities at the point where you’re ready to “get out of the garage”, so to speak. I want to know that you have your own funds, that your family has invested as much as they’re willing to, and that you're ready for the next step.
I will cooperate with other investors- I don’t have to be the sole financier. However, you do have to aim to go public in the future. If you want the company to stay private, I’m not interested in it, sorry. If we do end up working together, I typically make investments between $100 thousand and $1 million, depending on the opportunity at hand.
Ultimately, I have few strict restrictions on what type of investments I will consider. While I have frequently worked with resource, tech, and environmental companies in the past, I am open to hearing from people working in all kinds of industries. Your location is not a dealbreaker either. I am based in Canada, but have worked with clients all over the world, including Israel, Colombia, and the US.
